She subsequently spent five years at a mid-sized firm, focusing primarily on family law.

Shannon has experience appearing before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice and has handled a wide range of family-law matters, including child and spousal support, decision-making, complex financial issues, division of property and equalization, child protection, dispute resolution, and domestic contracts.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide. During law school, she volunteered at a legal advice clinic, where she assisted clients with small claims procedures.

Outside of the office, Shannon can often be found cheering on the Toronto Marlies or digging in the garden with her kids.
