Mariam Khattak joined Nussbaum Family Law in January 2026, returning to the firm after previously working as a summer law student in 2021. She practices exclusively in family law. Mariam earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and graduated with honours.
Mariam completed her articles with the Family Responsibility Office, where she developed a strong foundation in income analysis and child and spousal support enforcement. She was called to the Ontario Bar in October 2024. Prior to returning to Nussbaum Family Law, Mariam practiced at prominent boutique family law firms in Toronto, where she worked on high-conflict and high-income matters involving complex financial and parenting issues.
Mariam has litigated over 130 matters before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. She has experience across a broad range of family law issues, including divorce, parenting and decision-making disputes, child and spousal support, and financial and property matters. Mariam is committed to guiding clients through emotionally challenging circumstances with clarity, professionalism, and strategic advocacy.
