Alana is an Associate Lawyer who joined the Nussbaum Law team for her articling placement. Alana is committed to assisting people in their complicated family matters and finding legal resolutions to all kinds of issues they may face. Alana practices in all areas of family law including divorce, domestic contracts, litigation, parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child support, spousal support, financial matters, and property division. Alana conducts herself under the principle that each client’s case is unique, and she therefore prioritizes developing innovative solutions for all her client’s issues.
Alana obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Queen Mary University in London, United Kingdom with distinction, First Class Honours. Alana also obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Political Science from Western University in London, Canada with distinction, Dean’s Honour List. During law school, Alana actively engaged with local legal advice clinics and completed pro bono placements with local law firms.
In her spare time, Alana is an avid advocate and writer who has been published in several publications focused on political, environmental, and social issues. Alana also loves travelling the world, immersing herself in different environments, trying new foods, exploring beautiful places, and taking part in a variety of activities.
