Sonam is a dedicated family lawyer who provides thoughtful and strategic advocacy for client’s navigating some of life’s most personal and complex challenges.

Sonam was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 after receiving her Juris Doctors from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Medical Science from the University of Western Ontario.

Prior to joining Nussbaum Law, Sonam worked at a prominent litigation boutique in Toronto where she represented clients in a variety of civil matters and regularly appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. While in law school, Sonam was an active member of the legal community, serving as a caseworker at Windsor Law’s Community Legal Aid Clinic, the co-founder of the Health Law Association, and the president of the South Asian Law Students Association.

Outside of work, Sonam enjoys playing tennis, trying new restaurants, and exploring new cities.
