Julia joined the Nussbaum Law team in 2020. Following completion of her Articling term, she is now welcomed to the firm as an Associate Lawyer.

Julia prides herself on being a professional and dedicated advocate by maintaining a client-focused approach. With her experience, she understands that the intricacies of family law invoke some of the most important aspects of individuals lives. As an Associate at Nussbaum Law, Julia represents all clients in navigating the nuances of all areas within the realm of family law, including divorce, domestic agreements, decision-making and parenting issues, child and spousal support, complex financial issues and division of property cases, domestic abuse, narcissistic behaviours, and alternative dispute resolution.

Julia obtained her Masters of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School and her LL.B with Honours at Queen Mary University of London. During her time in Law School, Julia volunteered at the Legal Advice Centre, and acted as a Mentor in the IAMU Street Community Project. Prior to law school, Julia practiced as a Licensed Paralegal. Julia currently also teaches as a part-time instructor of the degree Paralegal program at Humber College.

In her spare time and as an aside from teaching, Julia is an avid writer (having been published twice), enjoys travelling and crossword puzzles, and loves the Toronto Maple Leafs.
