Associate Lawyer

Danielle Tavernese is an associate at Nussbaum Law. Her practice encompasses a wide range of family law, including legal aid matters, marriage contracts, and cohabitation agreements, custody and access, and asset division. Prior to this, Danielle articled and practiced at a well-known boutique defence litigation firm in various aspects of litigation. She has appeared before and represented clients successfully at the Ontario and Superior Court of Justice.

Danielle graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa French Common Law Program in 2019 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. During law school, Danielle advocated for her fellow law students on the board of the Common Law Student Society. She also assisted local Legal Aid clientele by working at the Community Legal Clinic in the Family Law Division and summered at a well-known boutique family law firm.

Danielle is on the board of directors for the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers Association. She is also a member of Toronto Lawyers Association and L’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario. She is fluent in French and serves her clients in both official languages.

In her spare time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, baking, and watching musicals.
